"Iliachtida" is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), founded in early 2000 in Nea Smyrni, Athens.

OUR VISION

"Iliachtida" is an N.G. Organization that has been working for ten years to support and enhance all children morally, financially, psychologically, as well as their family, by raising awareness and informing the public about the problems they face.

After 10 years of substantial efforts we succeeded in March 2010 to establish the first Children s Hospice in our region, located in Nea Smyrni. The Hospice hosts poor children with their parents from the province, who come with serious health problems to hospitals of Athens.

Today, our vision and fervent desire is mainly, to maintain but also expand the Hospice of "iliachtida" that is located in a building in the Central Square of Nea Smyrni, 5 Defteras Mayou str., 17 121, in order to be able to host any child who knocks at our door and ask to be in a warm, friendly surrounding, thoroughly free of charge, as it works today.
