The
Association's objectives are:
1.
To contribute to the harmonious development of children's' and
teenagers' social personalities, and to the further improvement
of their educational, living and cultural standards. To inform
and mobilize youngsters on social issues, their problems and needs.
To energize and strengthen their personal involvement with regards
to realizing and confronting their needs.
2. To support and inform families about children's and
teenagers' problems, rights and needs in Greece and abroad.
3. To provide all available support to children's and teenagers'
problems in Greece and abroad.
4. To provide solutions to the social, educational, financial,
and cultural problems faced by children and teenagers, by means
of representation in public bodies and offering support to such
bodies in Greece and abroad.
5. To support children residing in problematic families,
living below the poverty line, and with special needs, as well
as to ethnic minority children; to provide all available help
and support - including moral, financial and psychological - to
children that have been the victims of natural, social and environmental
adversities and disasters in Greece and abroad.
6. To inform and mobilise public opinion with regards to
the health, educational, employment, and environmental issues
children and teenagers in Greece and abroad are faced with.
7. To mobilize public opinion on environmental issues and
to educate refugees, migrants and youngsters at an individual
level and through public and private bodies representing them
in Greece and abroad.
8. To diffuse the results of European programmes in the
fields of ecology, environmental protection, and the physical
and psychological health and prosperity of children and youngsters
in Greece and throughout Europe, aiming in the active participation
of citizens on such contemporary issues as the environment and
health.
9. To organize conferences and educational seminaries of
a national and European character, aimed at mobilizing and educating
teenagers and the public at large in Greece and abroad.
10. To network children and youngsters with public and
private bodies working in the fields of health, education, employment,
and the environment in Greece, Europe and internationally.
11. To promote the results and good practice of various
pilot programmes carried out by public and private bodies in areas
concerning health, education, employment, and the environment
in Greece and abroad.
